Dear valued client Building a better business is my passion and Baker Affleck's own business development division has been exceedingly successful in terms of growth. As a result I have been spending a great deal of time in this area - we have received some feedback that I have been difficult to track down and for this I apologise. To ensure our traditional business does not suffer we have been investing in new technology, bullet proof systems and staff training. The team is ready to handle all your business and personal financial queries and I am confident in our ability to deliver the best possible service. You will see this first edition newsletter features a profile on Sarah Wallace. Sarah has stepped up to the role of Tax and Business Services Manager, leading the accounting team and taking on many of the responsibilities I would normally handle. I trust your dealings with Sarah will no doubt show how capable, professional and friendly she is. Other activities we are undertaking to improve our level of service and business efficiency are: Client Survey – we value your opinion, so this month Baker Affleck will seek your feedback. Client surveys will be posted with a reply paid envelope for you to complete and return. You can also win a fantastic prize for taking a few moments to complete the survey! We will use the feedback to improve your overall experience in dealing with Baker Affleck. Internal survey – to start the process of better understanding how to improve our business we conducted an internal survey. We were happy to find that the team loves working at Baker Affleck due to the culture, flexible working environment and reputation of the firm. We also copped some constructive feedback and are implementing a number of activities to improve staff morale, business efficiency and service. Engagement letters – Baker Affleck are now communicating up front about what scope of service you can expect from us and what the estimated costs will be for the coming financial year.
